Give a Merry Christmas

30+ Years of Holiday Joy

The Friends of the Homeless of the South Shore Christmas Shoppe & Giving Program helps more than 300 families and 600 children each year experience a brighter holiday season. We also provide gifts for unaccompanied teenagers who are without family during the holidays.

How It Works

  • Wish Lists Matched With Donors:
Families from our shelters and partner agencies submit Wish Lists with sizes, ages, and gift ideas. Donors “adopt” a family, shop for their gifts, wrap them, and deliver them to the Shoppe.

  • A Fully Stocked Giving Shoppe:
Additional toys, clothing, and essentials from local drives help us support families who join the program late and still deserve a joyful holiday.

Powered by Our Community

  • Generous Donors:
Individuals, families, schools, churches, businesses, and community groups adopt families, run drives, or provide gift cards and financial support.

  • Dedicated Volunteers:
Volunteers sort, organize, wrap, and prepare every bundle—ensuring each family receives their gifts with care and dignity.

Making Christmas Wishes Come True

For more than three decades, hundreds of donors and volunteers have united to bring joy, hope, and generosity to families across the South Shore.
